A festive celebration of colour in Estcourt

Anil Sookraj welcomed about 30 people to the school’s sports stadium to participate in this colourful fundraiser

Shrieks of laughter and sprays of colour marked the Colour Festival held at Forderville Primary School on Wednesday evening.

With the sound of music and the tantalising smells of chilli bites in the air, locals had a great time splashing each other with bright colours.

This is significant in the Holi Festival, which was celebrated internationally last Wednesday.

“Although the Colour Festival was not well attended by the Estcourt community, those that were a part of it had fun,” said Mr Sookraj.
