Last Tuesday marked the second distribution of relief packs to 200 orphaned or vulnerable children.

The local arm of the national relief and humanitarian non-profit organisation the Gift of the Givers has pledged to secure regular donations to Ithembalethu Outreach Project.

This month the children received generous food parcels as well as brand new clothing.

The delight on the children’s faces was evident as they opened the clothing packs to reveal the contents.
Gift of the Givers local representative Jaaved Khan and his team travelled to Wembezi, Colita and Rensburgdrift to hand out the 200 grocery and clothing packs.

The caregivers from Ithembalethu Outreach Project give their time and care to hundreds of children, creating a safe and happy environment for them to learn and grow. Children receive regular meals that are prepared by the caregivers.
