Hard work pays off at Bhekundi Secondary School

Some learners were in tears as they accepted their accolades

It was time for recognition, rewards and celebration at Bhekundi Secondary School on October 19.

Parents, educators and learners were part of the school’s prize-giving ceremony.

The day kicked off with songs of praise and motivational messages from guest speakers and educators.

Parents and learners were encouraged to make education a priority on their journey to success.

Grade 12 learners, in particular, were advised to set their sights on studying and producing the best results in the National Senior Certificate examination.

Siyabonga Radebe captured the Grade 10-12 Dux award.

The day concluded with the handing out of prizes for first, second and third in each grade, and then the Dux award.

Learners were greeted with applause and cheers as they received their awards.
