Runners smile all the way along the route.

Enthusiastic runners kick-started their weekend with the five kilometre parkrun on Saturday.

Grey Goose Game Lodge played host to around 200 runners who participated in the event. According to some of the participants, there was no better way to kick-start the weekend than a jog or walk along the designated route.

Some from as far as Durban took part in the parkrun for the first time and were appreciative of the scenery and route.
