Richmonds win Better-Ball competition
It was another victory for the father and son team
Golfers gathered for the Spar-sponsored Better-Ball competition on Saturday (September 17).
First on 46 points were the father-and-son team of Geoff and Ethan Richmond.
In second were Harry Koovarjee and Gerhard Reynders on a 43-point count-out, edging out Denal Budhu and Sam Sewsunker into third place, also on 43 points.
Dr Willem and Laura Erasmus came fourth with 42 points. Sam and Denal won the jackpot on 13 points.
Two-clubs on the day were achieved by Elias Mageza, Denal Budhu on the par-4 no. 4, and Dr Erasmus.
Closest to the pin on no. 3 was Gail Boettiger.
