Elephant and Eleven to do battle on Sunday

Estcourt football lovers could see their club qualifying to play in the Motsepe League KZN streams

It’s do or die for Nomgwenya Security Men’s Regional League log leaders Young Elephant this weekend when they play second-placed Junior Eleven on Sunday at Wembezi Stadium.

Young Elephant is leading the log with 72 points after 27 games, followed closely by Junior Eleven with 71 points after 27 games.

Young Elephant says the match is crucial because the two teams are separated by a mere point.

The Estcourt team continues to explain that, “Should we win the game on Sunday, we will open a gap of four points. Thereafter, only two games will be left. A win on Sunday will give us a better chance to progress to another stage, as those two games we believe will not trouble us.”
