The club is very excited to kick off the year and to offer even more to our community in the year ahead.

Back to School Fun Run announced

Our first event will be our Back to School Fun Run on January 24 at 08:30, starting at Remedia Pharmacy.

Routes open to walkers and runners

There will be a 2.5km and 5km route, and walkers and runners are welcome.

Event supports underprivileged children

This event is for a good cause – an entry fee of R10 plus any school supplies will be donated to underprivileged children.

Weekly Thursday run launches end of January

From January 29, we will also be hosting a weekly Thursday 5km run/walk at 17:30.

Route and time trial option

The route will start at the clubhouse at Hoërskool Pionier, follow the parkrun route, and return to the clubhouse. This is open to walkers, runners and more serious athletes; there will be a time trial option.

Lucky draw adds extra incentive

A R5 donation will give you entry into a lucky draw at the end.
