Dumbe steals the show in T20 cricket league

Dumbe took on eMondlo in the T20 league on Saturday.
Dumbe won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a total of 183 runs thanks to L Solms leading the charge with 101 runs not out. EMondlo was sent in to bat and could only manage to post 52 runs.

C Filter did the damage with the ball, taking four wickets. The other fixture of the weekend saw Mr X take on Wicket Wasps in the 50 Over League. Mr X was sent in to bat first and was bowled out for 135 runs, with B Tembo top scoring (41). J Booyens and A Brooks were the pick of the bowlers for the Wasps.
The yellowjackets had a good start, but could not chase down the set total and fell short by six runs.
C Dougherty and D Aspen took the bulk of the wickets.
After a series of close finishes, all teams are now looking forward to the play-offs.
