Floral displays to greet the winter

WHO SAYS that autumn and winter are times for drab colours? Vryheid’s Roos en Flora Vereniging displayed a selection of flower arrangements at Seasons Coffee & Gift Shop on Wednesday last week, and none of them were anything near drab.

And considering that the town is still in the grip of a severe drought, the wonderful colours within the displays, especially the vibrant greens, were a joy to the eye.
