A CHAMBER of Commerce is a voice for local business and when standing together as a business community, a greater impact can be made.

Local business owners and interested parties gathered at Lancaster Lodge last Thursday, where Chairman, Leon Prinsloo, discussed the reopening of the Vryheid Chamber of Commerce and the benefits this could bring to local business owners.

Guest speakers at the meeting included local attorney and martial artist, Abrie Kilian, as well as Charl Du Plessis from the AHI Head Office in Pretoria, who pointed out the many benefits of belonging to an organisation of this kind and the increased networking opportunities that belonging to the Chamber of Commerce can uncover for business owners.

A Chamber of Commerce offers a mentorship environment to business owners, connecting people who can assist each other in different areas of business and industry, enabling their businesses to flourish in these tough economical times.

“But a Chamber of Commerce is not a Chamber of Commerce without members,” stated Chairman, Leon Prinsloo, encouraging business owners to sign up for the opportunity to be a part of this necessary organisation.

Anyone who would like to join the Vryheid Chamber of Commerce can contact Leon Prinsloo on 083 700 7847.
