A truck has been set alight at Vaalkrans Coal Mine.
It is believed that angry employees are now taking extreme measures to get their employers attention.
Vaalkrans Coal Mines legal representative Mello Shabangu has confirmed that the mine owner’s are aware of what is currently happening at the site.
He further stated that they were currently in a meeting in Dundee with employees representing the mine-workers working on negotiations.
“I am currently drafting something they will take back and report to the workers at the site in about an hours time,” said Mr Shabangu.
