Others who swam were Luke Dungan, Brett Wood, Sven Zunckel, Alexia van der Merwe, Theo van der Merwe, Tristan Moore, Jesse Rencken, Kate Wood, Margy Church, Georgia Dungan, Brett Dungan, Gemma Daugherty, Humphrey van der Merwe, Lungelo “Doong” Ntshalinthali, Nelu van der Sandt, Calleigh Zunckel, Savannah Rencken, Rebecca Culverwell, Matt Zunckel and Jane Zunckel. The Valley of the Waves was a popular ‘after swim’ destination.

The weather was great and the trip through the Pilanesberg Game Reserve was, once again, an amazing experience – lots of elephant sightings, rhino, crocs and hippos and a variety of antelope. The swimmers look forward to the next one!
