Learners excel in Bloem

Students from the Accelerated Christian Education schools in Africa and Scandinavia get together for a week to compete in events, which include sporting, cultural and academic disciplines.

Ten senior learners from Estcourt Christian Academy attended the All Africa Student Convention (AASC) in Bloemfontein in September.

This is a time where students from the Accelerated Christian Education schools in Africa and Scandinavia get together for a week to compete in events, which include sporting, cultural and academic disciplines.

1 400 students plus adult sponsors and staff members enjoyed a wonderful time of competition, fun and fellowship.

The ECA group achieved excellent results, and four were selected to represent South Africa at the international Student Convention in Pennsylvania, USA, next year. Joshua Nowlan, Emma Haynes, Sarah Kuhn and Nicole Keyter will be attending this prestigious event in 2014.

Nadia and Monique van Tonder, Aidan Lawrence, Nipho Nhlapo, Johnathan Smit and Noluthando Nyathi also achieved good results.

Congratulations to all the students for their effort and commitment in preparing for this life-changing event.
