Those who attended had a great experience as they sampled the vibrant talent Ladysmith has to offer

Emnambithi/Ladysmith Municipality, in partnership with the Department of Arts & Culture, held an Eastern Extravaganza at the Indoor Sports Complex on Saturday.  The event started at about lunchtime and continued until late at night. Those who attended had a great experience as they sampled the vibrant talent Ladysmith has to offer.

Dance groups and magicians performed during the day. The band Spank put on a rocking and energetic performance, much to the delight of local music lovers. The final shows started at 7pm, with the best-of-the-best dance groups and gumboot dancers performing on stage.

There were also stalls selling everything from food to clothing. One of the main attractions for the little ones was the temporary tattoo stall, with lots of youngsters getting spray-on tattoos to show off to their friends.

The day / night extravaganza was a great success, as local cultural talent was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all!
