Heaps of dumped building and domestic material are growing in a vacant field near Heritage Road.

It is another example of the mounting  illegal dumping that can be seen in and around town and also in residential areas.

Despite several pleas to residents to refrain from illegally dumping their domestic, garden or building waste, this practice continues unabated.

Residents who spot people illegally dumping are encouraged to call the municipality on 036 342 7800 and report the incident. Umtshezi Municipality has been alerted of the dumping and reassures residents that it will be attended to.
