Have a happy furry Christmas
The AACL would like to wish the public and all animals a Merry Christmas

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) held the draw for their raffle on Friday. Annamarie Koen, Frank Ackerman and Lynn Wood of the AACL were present at the draw.
The lucky winners are: third prize – Sarel van der Merwe; second prize – Derek Goosen; and first prize – Dries Slabbert. A big thank you to the sponsors and all those who supported the league!
There is a German Shepherd cross at the AACL looking for a good home. He is roughly four months old and has come to be affectionately called ‘Two Doors’.
He belonged to a family who didn’t want him and do not know how to look after animals in the right way. When Two Doors was younger and smaller, he would sneak out of the palisade fencing and into the road.
He began to know the families and other dogs in the area. One family in particular looked after him and they lived two doors up from his home, hence his name. His owners starting opening the gate for him because he would bark. So he would run into the streets and he was always hungry. The AACL have also received numerous complaints about him. He is now in their care, but is desperately seeking a good home.
There is also a black male Dachshund that was found in Cochrane Road. If he belongs to you, please collect him as soon as possible.
Thanks this week go out to Pierre Massyn and TFS. Thank you for your support!
