The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) is happy to report that there have been no new abuse cases.
However, they had four hunting puppies stolen from the property last week. They know where the child criminals are from and police are aware of the incident. Anyone with information in this regard is requested to contact the AACL on 076-151-1784.
Please be mindful of your pets in this terrible heat! You must provide them with adequate water and be sure to fill up their water bowl during the day. Your pet also requires shelter, preferably not corrugated iron.
You are not allowed to chain your dog, unless it is on a running chain. If you are found to have a chained dog or have neglected his needs in this heat, you will be fined. Even worse, dogs can die in this heat if not given enough water and provided with shade.
There are kittens at the league looking for a good home to call their own. There is also a crossbreed puppy who would love to call you her new best friend. Please contact the league to get a new member of the family.
