This Saturday the club will host the Ikhaya Lethu Care Centre Golf Day, which will be sponsored by GM Builders.

There will be nine-hole IPS competitions on Wednesday and Friday.
The IPS meat competition played on Wednesday, January 8 over nine holes was won by Debbie Catlett on a good 25 points, and second was Brett Meyer on 20 points.
Friday’s competition, played over nine holes in the form of an IPS, was won by R Prinsloo on 22 points, and second was K Saayman on 21 points.
Battery Centre Day
The Battery Centre Golf Day, played in the form of a 4BBB Stableford, attracted a good field. Many thanks to Richard for organising the day. The winners were as follows: on a good 45 points were Farouk Adam and Ali Abdulla (grandfather and grandson); second Razak Khan and Hoosen Ayob; third Nathi Mbatha and Guybon Ngidi on a count-out; fourth was Melusi Sithole and Sibusiso Sithole on 44 points (brothers), on a count-out from Brian Chiwaya and Churchill Maphanga; sixth husband and wife Phillip and Martinique Vlok.
The jackpot was won by Natasha Coetzee on 11 points.
Longest Drive for Men was taken by Pierre Booysen.
Nearest to Pins were as follows: No.s 4/12 – Sibusiso Sithole; No. 8 – G Ngidi; No. 16 – Cyril Mkhwanazi.
Two-clubs were carded by Aaron Mbatha, Marc Nero, John Zulu, Sibusiso Sithole and Richard Catlett.
