The Association for Physically Challenged loans assistive devices to any member of the public. Irene Lundin can be contacted for such a loan on 082 879 1203. The Dundee Branch currently has devices as in the photo; wheelchairs, a walker and a nebulizer. An Occupational or Physiotherapist assists in advising the client on the device. There is no charge for the use of the device but donations are gratefully received. The Association cannot transport nor clean the devices, this is the responsiblity of the user. There are also two residential homes for persons with physically disabilities in KZN, one is in Newcastle.
