How many people have noticed that the machine from which one purchases prepaid electricity at the municipality does not accept the new notes?

The reason for this, according to a source at the municipality, is that the placing of the silver strip on the new notes is slightly different to that of the older notes, therefore interfering with the machine's ability to read the notes.

Although the municipality has allegedly reported the matter, they are still waiting for the relevant company to attend to the situation and reset the machine to accommodate the new notes.

To compensate for this, the municipal offices will be open until 6:00pm from Monday to Thursday and until 3:30pm on Fridays.

They will also be open from 8:00am until 4:00pm on Saturdays and from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Sundays.
