Saying farewell to Soul Buddyz
Mr Kubheka presented framed certificates and Oxford dictionaries he bought for five Gqama Primary School pupils
Gqama Primary School bade farewell to last year’s Soul Buddyz (Grade 7) on November 1, 2013. The function was organised by Mrs SE Mazibuko and Miss EK Sosibo, who are responsible for growing and grooming the Soul Buddyz.
Several departments were invited to attend the farewell function, including the Department of Health, Social Development, Transport and Education. The Department of Education was represented by Miss K Molefe and Miss BJ Shabalala. From the Uthukela District Office was Chief Circuit Manager Mr HPH Kubheka, while the Justice Department was represented by Chief Magistrate Dr BM Mchunu.
Mr Kubheka promised to frame the Soul Buddyz certificates awarded by the school, and Dr Mchunu promised to donate an amount of R2000 on top of what he already donated for the function.
On February 10, at the Mnambithi CMC, Mr Kubheka presented the framed certificates and the Oxford dictionaries he bought for five Gqama Primary School pupils (Soul Buddyz Club members) who are now in Grade 8 at different high schools.
