Dundee Country Club hosted the prize-giving for the Zinoju Coal Social Squash League last Wednesday evening. The league commenced earlier this year.
The winning team was Team Seven – Zane Qwabe, Kevin Donaldson, Shane Wait, Hanno Van Der Berg and Johann Coetzee, with 102 points; second Team Three – Sifiso Kunene, Guy Slater, Gouws and Eugene Corbitt, with 96 points.
The squash club thanks Andrè Karsten and Hanno Van Der Berg for all the hard work and time in making this league possible, and such a great success. The prize-giving was followed by a braai – thank you to the DCC staff for the great food.
Dundee Country Club – St Patrick’s Day
The Dundee Country Club will be hosting a St Patrick’s Day on March 21, with lots of prizes to be won. The day will start with a little fun on the golf course, with a St Paddy’s golf round – all golfers and non-golfers welcome to join in. Be there at 9am for lots of fun! Then at 11am a shotgun start for the golfers’ 4-Ball Alliance meat competition. Lunch for the day will be bangers and mash.
The evening’s activities start at 6pm.
Dinner is lamb stew or cottage pie, with toffee pudding and custard or ice cream.
