Nishen in top form
After winning the Saturday 30 Over Night League, Endumeni continued their winning ways with another victory.
Action in the T20 Night League resumed this past weekend, with two games being played.
On Friday night Endumeni Development and Molls did battle. Endumeni batted first and made 150/3 in their allotted overs. Nishen continued his rich vein of form, scoring 60 not out, and Mfundo impressed with 41. Molls best bowlers were Daniel, who took 2/20, and Gavin, who took 1/30.
In reply Molls could only manage 113/9 in their 20 overs. Gavin and Sakkie top-scored, both scoring 32. Mikaile took 2/26 and Dean took 2/24 as Endumeni Development picked up another impressive win.
Following their loss on Friday night, Molls looked to bounce back when they took on Farmers in their second T20 game.
Batting first, Farmers made 131 all out.
Father and son team Peter and Fergus Johnson top-scored with 31 and 33 respectively. Wilfred took 3/22 and Corné took 2/29 as they restricted Farmers to a gettable total.
In reply Molls made the score in 14 overs with five wickets in hand. Jurie was in destructive form, making 61, and David chipped in with 19 as Molls cruised to a comfortable victory. Fergus took 1/12 and Conrad took 1/24 for Farmers.
