Michaelis school welcomes a new teacher, new teaching aids and celebrates 50 years
WE, AT MICHAELIS, have the pleasure of welcoming Mrs Sandra van Deventer as our newest staff member.
Sandra will be teaching Grade 5 to 7 English, as well as the Grade 5 content subjects. We hope she has a long and happy association with our school.
New teaching aids: We are excited to announce that some new technology has been added to our classrooms, further enhancing the learning experience for our students.
The Kindergarten now boasts two interactive whiteboards, and the library has also been installed with one.
Three Inscribe Tablets have been acquired for teachers to use in conjunction with their whiteboards.
Boys’ hockey: The senior boys played a hockey tournament last week and the results were as follows: we drew against Huttenpark and St Dominics 0-0, we lost against Newcastle Primary School 0 – 2 and won against Nardini 1 – 0.
Michaelis’ 50th anniversary: We would just like to inform all past parents and students about our 50th celebration which will take place from June 20 to 22.
