Experimental science for grade fives

Moving out of doors with one of the grade five teachers, Mrs Shireen Balie their knowledge increased when they went on a science ramble

Grade five at Treverton Prep spent their first term studying science, with some unforgettable experiments.
The class was enthusiastic about scientific tests they have conducted during the term.
They were all keen to explain how an egg will float in salty water and Coca-Cola will froth when menthos is added to it. Moving out of doors with one of the grade five teachers, Mrs Shireen Balie their knowledge increased when they went on a science ramble.
They were tasked to look for the different colours, which nature exhibits.
The changing of the season provided a variety of coloured leaves to study.
