On Thursday, March 27, Ichthus hosted their annual Grandparents’ Day, with the theme ‘Our Darlings’.
The learners were extremely excited that their grandparents could come and enjoy this special occasion with them. The school choir was first to take to the stage, and they dazzled the audience with their angelic voices. Each class, from Grade RR to Grade 7, took part in an item, ranging from poems, songs, gumboot dancing to an excerpt from Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox.
Ichthus would like to thank all the parents and teachers who organised and prepared the food and concert items – they was delightful! A special word of thanks goes to Mrs Hendrien Jordaan, who was the coordinator of the event, and to Mrs Lydia Meintjes, who organised all the food and beverages.
