VHS – Junior players ‘On fire’

VHS PLAYED against Dundee High on Saturday, May 24. It was a very pleasant day with good weather and an admirable spirit amongst all.

We witnessed good sportsmanship in action while watching well played rugby, hockey and netball. Congratulations to the netball teams who won most of their games.

A special mention of the u/14A netball team who won their match 32-3 – Well done girls! It seems like the junior players are ‘on fire’ – the u/14 hockey girls also won 3 – 0!

The Hospitality department are hosting restaurant evenings for the senior grades. The tickets to these evenings are usually sold out as they have a reputation for good food and good company! An evening well spent!

Results: Rugby: u/14A 19-26; u/15A 10-24; second 22-19 and first 38-15. Girls’ hockey: u/14A 3-0; u/16A 0-1; u/16B 0-0; second 0-0 and first 0-1. Boys’ hockey: first 1-1 and second 1-0. Chess: 1 – 5.

Remember: The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge! So let go!
