Quick and easy Melkkos
Ingredients:
- 500 ml milk
- One tablespoon of butter
- ½ cup cake flour
- Two tablespoons of cold water
- Two tablespoons of sugar
- Salt to taste
- Cinnamon
Method:
- Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan over medium heat, but don’t let it boil just yet.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and cold water until you have a crumbly, lumpy mixture.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the hot milk, stirring continuously with a whisk or wooden spoon.
- Keep stirring and simmer gently for 5–8 minutes, until a thick and creamy texture forms.
Stir in the sugar. - Spoon into bowls and then sprinkle generously with cinnamon and a little extra sugar.
