Taps once again dry in Aloe Park

Routine maintenance blamed for water shortage?

Residents are once again without water this morning in Aloe Park. And still no explanation from uThukela as to why and how the problem continues to elude their repair teams…

ThisĀ  is an ongoing problem.

These are just some of the angry posts on our Facebook Page:

Sanjit Jugamohan

Please can someone do some insight investigation to see why we don”t have water in the Aloe Park area. It is useless speaking to idiots who have no idea what is happening. The call centre should be closed; hopeless.
This has been going on for a long time, PLEASE can we get some answers?

Leeann Lalbeharie

Once again, we wake up to dry taps in Aloe Park. This is totally unacceptable!!!! It’s shocking that we live in the 21st century and yet are unable to fix the pumps or repair whatever excuse uThukela concocts. Routine maintenance surely can’t be ongoing every day. uThukela are a bunch of idiots.

We will be forwarding these and many more questions to uThukela District Municipality Mayor Dudu Mazibuko.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
