uThukela  issued a warning to all residents of a major water outage in most areas of Ladysmith that was expected to last a few hours.

The burst pipe is still being repaired and no ETA on when it will be fixed is available.

Even if the pipe is repaired, it will take several hours to refill empty reservoirs.

We will update residents as soon as uThukela informs us of any change.
