uThukela make a splash in Mysore Road

Flooding no longer a joke for residents, as water restrictions hit hard

With thousands of litres of drinking water pouring down the drain in Mysore Road, uThukela are once again faced with more water leaks than they can handle. This while water restrictions are still in place.

With water restrictions meaning that residents can be fined for watering their gardens or washing their cars, residents want to know: “How can uThukela be so lackadaisical about burst pipes?”

The flooding along the road angered many passersby.

uThukela technicians are on scene attempting to repair the leak. Expect water outages in the area.
