A series of massive accidents on the N3 between Harrismith and Van Reenen’s pass has forced officials to close that section of the N3.
So far, four casualties have been reported by the Ladysmith Gazette. However, this number is expected to rise as more than 20 vehicles were involved in separate collisions.
Traffic will now be diverted through Newcastle, according to officials. Motorists are urged to exercise patience and drive cautiously.
