Remember those who fell for you: Buy a Poppy
By buying a poppy you will honour the soldiers who fell in battle and those who fought valiantly for their country.
Poppies will be available at Pick n Pay stores in Hutten Heights and Pioneer Park on Saturday, November 8. The proceeds will go towards veteran soldiers who still live in Newcastle.

On Sunday, November 9, the Remembrance Day parade will start at 10am at the Monte Stanco Shell Hole on Hardwick Street. There will also be a short parade on Saturday, November 8 starting at 9am at Newcastle High School.
Members of the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTH) and the Drakensberg Commando will take part in the parades. The parade on Sunday will feature a ‘war horse’ for the first time.
