On November 5, Kwabhanya Secondary School held a prizegiving function for learners who have done exceptionally well in this year. Learners were recognised for for academic performances, as well as sports and cultural events from grade 8 to 12. The Top Achiever Awards’ were obtained by, from left to right: Lwozi Dlamini (Grade 12A with distictions in six subjects, including Maths and Science); Mdletshe Lungiseni (Grade 11A with distinctions in four subjects, including Maths and Science); Vundle Sphesihle (Grade 10A with distinctions in two subjects); Chifombe Shomile (Grade 9 with distinctions in four subjects) and Mtshali Smelokuhle (Grade 9 with distinctions in four subjects). The learners received certificates of merit, dictionaries and floating trophies. The dictionaries were the result of donations spearheaded by the RCL executive of the school, which is led by Mdletshe Lungisani as its president.
