On Thursday, November 27, Ichthus Christian School formally said goodbye to the Grade 7 class of 2014.
Ten very smartly dressed Grade 7 boys and girls attended this special function with their parents and all the staff and Governing Body members of Ichthus.
The Grade 7 learners once again astounded the audience with their excellent, heart-felt speeches, true to everyone’s own personality.
The fathers of the families, or a representative of the father, then blessed their children individually as a symbol of releasing the child into high school and into the world where they are going to accept more responsibilities.
The principal, Mrs Viljoen, then blessed each child with a few words and a gift.
Ichthus would like to thank Mrs Esmé Willemse for coordinating the evening as well as Mrs Lizette Jacobs and Mrs Nicolene Spies and all the Grade 6 parents and Grade 6 learners who prepared an exquisite three course meal for the evening.
Thank you!
