BREAKING NEWS: Shrien Dewani acquitted of murder

Shrien Dewani has been acquitted of murder by the Western Cape High Court.

According to reports the public gallery erupted in outrage after Judge Jeanette Traverso announced her sentence.

Mr Dewani was charged with the murder of his wife, Anni Dewani in November 2010.

The judgement comes on the heels of the highly controversial Oscar Pistorius sentencing.
