The Ice Angels aren't all about the stunts and the adrenaline rush. Last weekend the Ice Angels slowed down the speed, removed their helmets and were more than prepared to end 2014 by giving back to the community.
On Saturday, December 13 at 1am the Ice Angels served a delectable lunch at the Colita Community Hall to pensioners residing in Colita.
Wesley Lambert offered a prayer thereafter his fellow Ice Angels went on to serve the elderly Colita citizens in an the atmosphere of soothing music as chattering echoed over a scrumptious meal and later a sweet treat.
The children were excited by the loud revving sounds of some of the bikes as other Northern KwaZulu-Natal biker clubs returned to their residing towns.
A long line of shuffling children came to ease when they were served with a yummy meal and once that digested they received a party pack and a pre-Christmas toy.
They played the afternoon away with their friends as the elderly thanked the Ice Angels for the heart-warming initiative.
On Sunday, December 14 the Ice Angels set out for Ntabamhlophe where they made a stop at the Faith Mission Church. On arrival the club members were invited to join the church for a prayer under a tent. Thereafter the Ice Angles served lunch and a sweet treat to the church members. The youth then each received a gift and party pack. Gratitude sparkled in their eyes as their smiles reached for their ears in delight.
The Ice Angels pledged to assist the Faith Mission Church in cash and in kind to complete the building of their church. The members of the church thanked the Ice Angels the only way they knew how, with songs of thanks and praise.
