Happy New Year – load shedding is back…

Glencoe normally also escapes the worst of the crisis.

Only the first week of 2015 and Dundee has already has had its first taste of load shedding.  The power shut down at midday and came back two hours later.

Hattingspruit and Dannhauser were not affected.  Glencoe normally also escapes the worst of the crisis.  However, according to the Eskom website the town’s power will be off this weekend from 2pm to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Dannhauser will be out – according to the schedule – from 8am to 10.30am on both Saturday and Sunday.

According to the Eskom schedule, Dundee should be load-shedding free in terms of the utility’s phase one programme but a shut down is scheduled from between 4pm and 6.30pm on Monday.
