Crisis Centre thanks community for support

With 2015 in full swing, Newcastle Crisis Centre is ready to assist and bring hope to anyone who experiences emotional or physical turmoil.

While hoping the New Year brings joy to all, Mary Dobbie of the centre said her wish for the year was for people to no longer hide abuse.

“For the new year, we want people to break the silence of abuse and report crimes of rape and abuse. You do not have to be afraid to talk about it; there is someone who cares,” emphasised Mrs Dobbie.

She thanked all sponsors who assisted the centre in 2014. “It is because of our sponsors that there is a place of safety and help available for abuse victims.”
