Update: Man wanted for herbalist scam
Police believe that the individual appearing in the photo may be in a position to assist them in solving the case
According to Ladysmith police, the incident in which a woman was robbed of her pension money by a herbalist occurred between October 6 and November 15 last year.
The resident went to see a “prophet/herbalist” who promised to double her pension money. She was scammed out of around half a million rand (R500,000).
The matter was reported to police and a case of theft was opened. Police are currently investigating and believe that the individual appearing in the photo may be in a position to assist them in solving the case.
