UPDATE: Double parking leads to smash on Harding Street
No serious injuries were sustained during a collision, which was believed to have been caused due to illegal parking.
It is suspected that double parking was the cause of a collision on Harding Street shortly after 1pm this afternoon.
According to an unofficial police source on the scene, a sedan was double parked outside a business just opposite uThukela Water, when a motorist driving an SUV allegedly collided into the rear of a stationary vehicle.
Due to the impact, the stationary vehicle collided into a third car, which had already been parked alongside the road.
The unofficial police source claimed there was one minor injury and the woman was taken to hospital to be evaluated.
