New station commander at the helm for Colenso SAPS
Captain Ankiah is a Ladysmith lad and has served in the police for the past 26 years
Captain S Ankiah has been appointed as the new station commander at Colenso SAPS.
He took up his post on December 1 last year. The captain has already received praise from the community for the general pleasant attitude of the officers at the station and the visible policing deployments in the town.
Capt Ankiah is a Ladysmith lad and has served in the police for the past 26 years.
He holds a National Diploma in Policing and has served in various units, including the Visible Policing Unit; Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences Unit; and Detective Services; as well as being a Cluster detective officer.
He has been congratulated by the Ladysmith Cluster commander, Brigadier Marais, on his new appointment and his swift improvement of services at Colenso SAPS.
