Your interests at heart

AS STATED in the paper last week, the municipality is aware of the problem with the water. They are treating it to try and get rid of the unpleasant taste and odour, but it is safe to drink.

WSSA, our service adviser, also do regular tests and were most upset to hear Afriforum’s comments about the water. According to WSSA testing of water is not just taking any plastic bottle and taking samples anywhere. There is a specific process to be followed and one cannot compare samples from different sources with each other.

Then it must also known what the water is being tested for, in other words you must compare apples with apples. Water has to be tested at the point of purification.

The public of Vryheid can be assured that our municipality has the interest of their health at heart at all times, but one must expect the things do go wrong from time to time .
