LET US create a caring society, let us build stronger family units, let us empower citizens to act more responsibly.

Let us all go out and mobilise for all our people to be involved.

Let us build our economy and ensure skills are developed, and eradicate poverty.

The fight against crime is more than what the police alone can do. It’s about society, it is about you and me. We must stop buying stolen goods, which encourages crime.

We must report crime and assist the police with information to catch wrongdoers. In this way we will move forward towards a crime-free society.

We will take very serious and very decisive action against any teachers who abuse their authority and power by entering into sexual relationships with children.

We want our teachers, learners and parents to work with government to turn our schools into centres of excellence.

We call on all South Africans to embrace the NHI, as it will take us a step further towards better and more affordable health care for all.

We call on all health professionals and workers to treat every sick person with care, empathy and professionalism.

Youth unemployment remains a major challenge in this country. The private sector, public sector, youth organisations and trade unions must unite in action to address youth unemployment through broad, holistic interventions that do not jeopardise the jobs of existing workers, or undermine workers’ rights generally.

South Africa is currently a net importer of food. We need to increase our food production. This will be linked to measures aimed at developing the co-operative, smallholder and skills development in the agricultural sector.

In this regard, we call on citizens to celebrate, promote and defend the country’s constitution at all times. We also urge CPF members and our people to honour the county’s national symbols, which define who we are as a people.

Responsibility is the key for our future.
