Dagga plant found at sport ground

A dagga plant was recently found growing at the Paradise Sports Grounds.
While far from being considered a plantation, and hidden behind a wall, the dagga plant has raised an eyebrow or two.
“There are obviously things happening there and it is worrying, as children use the sports grounds as well,” said a resident, who wished to remain anonymous, but used the sports fields on a regular basis.
Mark Jacobs, head of Two Eagles Security Neighbourhood Watch, said he heard drug usage in the area had increased.
“I have not heard about dagga, but we are keeping our eyes open and will take the relevant legal steps if people are found dealing in drugs,” he confirmed.
Captain Shooz Magudulela, police spokesperson, said he would send officers to the scene and that the plant would be removed.
