In the six years since they performed to an expectant crowd at Oppikoppi Wild Card festival in 2008, Zebra and Giraffe have headlined all of South Africa’s major festivals, toured the length and breadth of the country and performed alongside The Killers, Snow Patrol, Oasis, Sum41, Prodigy and Panic at the Disco.

In 2009 they were invited to perform live at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Nairobi, Kenya, and in 2011 performed at MuseExpo in Los Angeles.

Knuckles was the fourth studio release from Zebra and Giraffe, with the launch tour including headlining performances at Oppikoppi Festival and, through winning a public crowd vote via 5fm, the I Heart Joburg Festival with international stalwarts Panic at the Disco..

Collected Memories produced seven top ten singles and won a South African Music Award for the Best Rock Album and the MTV All Africa Award for Best Alternative Band.

The Knife EP launched internationally in 2010 and was ‘mixed’ at Metropolis Studios in London. Editors, Florence and the Machine, Snow Patrol and U2 added the finishing touches to an already epic song.

The Inside was released as a standard and deluxe edition in 2010, including a ‘making of’ DVD in the package.

The Wisest Ones won Zebra and Giraffe a SAMA for Best Rock Album and earned the team MK Music Award nominations for Best Video, Best Group and Best Rock Album.
