Mystery surrounds yet another accident in central Dundee.  Two Fortuner vehicles were involved in a crash at PJ Motor’s car wash on Victoria Street this morning.

Prethie Jeebodh of PJ’s said a silver Fortuner had arrived first for a car wash.  However, shortly afterwards, a black Fortuner driven by a woman, arrived and rammed the first Fortuner from the back, causing it to careen into a wall.

The black vehicle then spun into a wall where there are tenanted rooms.  A wall was smashed but there were no injuries to those inside the room.

Mr Jeebodh said the woman driver then drove off in the Fortuner but it appears that later she admitted herself for medical treatment.

The male driver of the first Fortuner was said to be a Durban-placed policeman whose home is Dundee.  It is not clear if the crash was intentional and involved a domestic dispute.  Mr Jeebodh is to claim damages.
