DJ releases a music video

The video was shot in Harding, Connor and Victoria streets as well as other parts of Estcourt

Shot in the streets of Estcourt, a new music video entitled Mistress Music is already gaining support from listeners. The single, which features local and national talent, was released recently and shooting the music video was the next step to promote the song.

Mistress Music features Port Elizabeth producer Traful, Estcourt vocalists Debangs and Kidd Kching as well as DJ Mpiloz, who is the single’s brainchild. DJ Mpiloz (Philani Manyoni) had a whirlwind of a year last year when he travelled to the United States and played at sold-out gigs.

He utilised this influence to produce Mistress Music, which he says is getting radio airtime in the United Kingdom as well as Yfm in South Africa. The team is awaiting confirmation from 5fm and Ukhosi FM who may feature the track on their playlist.

The song is described as ‘deep house’ and has an infectious melody and smooth lyrics. The video was shot in Harding, Connor and Victoria streets as well as other parts of Estcourt. Njebza Entertainment managed the shooting of the video, which Njabulo Mabaso says they are excited about.

“We want to get DJ Mpiloz’s music out there and showcase other local talent,” he said. DJ Mpiloz encourages community to support the local music industry, adding that Mistress Music will be available for download on March 21.
