Ichthus athletes on the go

On Saturday February 21, six athletes from Ichthus participated in the first round of the CMC athletics meeting that was held at Kallie’s Stadium. All of the athletes performed well, and two athletes, namely Alwande Mkhize and Siphume Ntombela, proceeded to the next round.
On Friday, February 27, Alwande and Siphume participated in the second round of the CMC athletics meeting which was held at Dundee Junior School. Their results were as follows: Alwande Mkhize (G u/13): Javelin – first; Siphume Ntombela (B u/10): High Jump – first; Long Jump – third.
