Every year the Drakensberg Boys Choir School make use of the beauty in their back yard and do outward bound with the boys.
All the boys spend the weekend in the great outdoors. This year the grade fours and fives camped at Weenen Game Reserve, while the grade six, seven and eight learners spent two nights in various caves in the beautiful Drakensberg.
It is a tradition for the grade nines to hike to Keith Bush camp and sleep in tents. They hike with their fathers and then summit the ‘Berg via Gray’s Pass. A great time was had by all and well done to all the boys.
I am sure they have already forgotten about their sore backs and that their blisters have already healed. It truly is a personal achievement.
